Loved the Japanese toilets, Hermès toiletries, delicious beach lunches (mmm thin crust pizza with goat cheese and pears), buffet breakfasts with local specialities, the sound of the waves all night long, the wilderness around us with the noisy guacharacas (birds) screeching in the mornings in the trees. Staff not prepared so lots of waiting. The room was always clean and the toiletry amenities are of the best quality. We were out all day, yet they come just when we get back.

There is a good gym and nice handicraft store. We recommend calling ahead to confirm details. I loved walking along the trails. Yes, guests often enjoy the ocean view available here. Our recommendations for improvement would be not charging for mini bar drinks, I always find that tedious in expensive hotels. Next day at 8am our doorbell rang! The breads and amuse -bouches in evening were excellent. The hotel found a espectacular way to establish a real balance with nature, giving us the guest the full pleasure of luxury and the mother nature.
